We have been campaigning to make Leeds a more bee friendly city as part of “The Bee Cause” Friends of the Earth national campaign. This issue remains high on our agenda as pollinators are essential to our food production and wellbeing.

Current work aims to encourage more wildflower meadows to be planted in Leeds in order to create bee corridors throughout the city; giving bees and other pollinators greater access to nesting and feeding sites, thus improving their chances of survival.
