Where: Bardon Grange – Find directions here: https://www.leedsuniversityunion.org.uk/pageassets/community/bardongrange/Getting-to-Bardon-Grange.pdf
What: Wild garlic is abundant in the woods around Leeds right now. It’s a fantastic plant to go foraging for; it’s easy to identify, prolific and really delicious!
Every year Bardon Grange host a session making wild garlic pesto with and for their volunteers. Come along and help them forage for wild garlic and make vast amounts of pesto for everyone to take home a jar!
This event is free, anyone is welcome and you don’t need to bring anything along.
We’ll be making pesto from 3pm – 4pm next Wednesday (during the usual regular Bardon Grange drop-in session which runs from 2.30pm – 5.30pm)
Please help Rita by emailing if you are interested in coming along so she can get enough ingredients/jars for everyone: R.Oldenbourg@leeds.ac.uk
